FROM DARKNESS TO THE LIGHT

Let there be light," God said, and there was light. God saw that light was good and distinguished it from darkness. God designated the day as "day," and the night as "night." And there were evenings and mornings--the first day" (2:1-5) (Genesis 1:2-5). " Once upon a time, we were in the dark, but God sent His Son to rescue us and bring us into the light. This light does not originate in this world, but in the one who created it. According to the Holy Scriptures, "Light has come into the world, but people preferred darkness to light due to their evil deeds." (James 3:19). God's eternal purpose has always been to bring light into the world's darkness. Jesus came in the form of light to bring light to places where there is darkness. The darkness yielded to the light. We are salt and light as Christians because we have been transformed from darkness to light. Isn't that what Jesus told Saul his mission was: "to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from Satan's power to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified through faith in Jesus."(Acts 26:18).
